Terms of Usage and Personal Data Policy

1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of Greeko — a Telegram Mini App for learning Modern Greek. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the data processing policy below. Operator: FLOWVATE DEVELOPMENT LTD, 8046, Cyprus, Paphos, Galateias, 2-4. Contact: support@greeko.online.
2. Definitions
«App», «Service» — the Greeko Telegram Mini App and all related components. «User» — any individual who opens the app through Telegram. «Operator» — FLOWVATE DEVELOPMENT LTD.
3. Account and Telegram-based access
No separate account is required. Authentication happens automatically through the Telegram WebApp SDK: the app receives your Telegram user identifier (tg_id), username, display name and interface language. These fields are used to create your Greeko profile and link your progress.
4. Age restrictions
The service is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users between 13 and 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian in accordance with the laws of their country. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 13, we delete the account and all related data.
5. Subscriptions and payments
The Free plan is available forever. The Premium subscription is billed through a third-party payment gateway (Stripe) and auto-renews until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your profile settings. A paid period is non-refundable but stays active until the end date.
6. AI processing
To generate themed word lists, translations, audio and imagery, Greeko uses third-party AI services. User prompts for AI word lists are forwarded to these services without personal identifiers. Request history is retained on Greeko servers for moderation and quality review.
7. Personal data
We collect and process: your Telegram user ID, username, display name, interface language, timezone, learning history and dictionary. Data is stored on servers in the EU with in-transit encryption. Retention: personal data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days after account deletion, except where the law requires longer storage (billing records are kept for the period required by tax legislation). Legal bases for processing (GDPR Art. 6): contract performance — Art. 6(1)(b) for providing the service, subscription management and billing; consent — Art. 6(1)(a) for optional analytics (can be withdrawn at any time); legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) to protect the service against abuse; legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(c) to comply with statutory requirements.
8. Data recipients
We share data only with trusted processors necessary to operate the service: Telegram — as the identity source; third-party AI services — for learning-content generation, translations and speech synthesis (prompts are forwarded without personal identifiers); Stripe — for payment processing; EU-based cloud hosting — for infrastructure; Cloudinary — for media storage. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers.
9. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15–22)
You have the right to: obtain a copy of your personal data (Art. 15 — access); rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16); request deletion of your account and related data (Art. 17 — right to be forgotten); restrict processing in certain cases (Art. 18); receive your data in a machine-readable format for portability (Art. 20); object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21); not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (Art. 22). To exercise these rights, write to support@greeko.online — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
10. Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 days of the first Premium charge, provided active use of Premium features does not exceed 1 hour. Send refund requests to support@greeko.online.
11. User obligations
You agree not to use the service for bulk automated content generation, not to interfere with the service technically, and not to share account access with third parties.
12. Intellectual property
Original content (task texts, audio, images, AI-generated items) is the property of Greeko. You receive a non-transferable right to personal use inside the app.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes that cannot be settled in negotiation fall under the jurisdiction of courts at the Operator's registered address.
